Audi TT Mk1 Part 3

This is the car after fitting the new front bumper.....

New 18" OZ Ultraleggera wheels with Falken 452 tyres to give maximum grip on the corners. Lowered with V-Maxx Sport suspension kit that lowers the car for the more aggressive stance. Works well with the quattro system on the Audi so it literally flies around the corners now!!!

Air intake system upgraded to Mishimoto Carbon air intake with K&N open pod inside.

After painting with 3 layers of Glasurit paint, this is the final product.....

Stay tuned for more projects in the making.....

Audi TT Mk1 Part 2

Continuing to Part 2: Internals and Externals...

We also changed all the relevant hoses with quality silicone hoses from Forge UK as a safety measure and also the pads were EBC redstuff with better grip and braking power. The hoses were customized for the TT mk1 and came in a kit so it fitted perfectly on all counts. You would need high temperature silicon hoses like these because the Mk1 quattro which comes standard with 225 bhp on the engine would strain the original hoses to the breaking point. On some chipped cars, the hoses would even collapse inward causing air depravation on the engine. So keep this mod in mind whenever you're thinking of power upgrades for your car.

Looks like there'll be a face change on the cards....

To be continued in Part 3....

The stock standard engine bay ( except for the open pod air filter).

The boys starting to work on the car.

Stay tuned for the second part of the project.
